Site and Simple Terms and Conditions
Please read our terms and conditions carefully. By placing an order with Site and Simple and by paying for a service provided by Site and Simple, you are agreeing to our terms and conditions.
Once both parties have agreed a theme and site map, you must provide Site and Simple with the content for your website including all images and copy (this excludes royalty free images) before the site goes live. Any content that you provide us for the website must not infringe Copyright law. By providing Site and Simple with Copyrighted content for your website, you may be liable for any damages or liabilities incurred.
‘Working Days’ consists of Monday-Friday (excluding Bank Holidays). Once the building of your site has begun (after agreeing theme, domain, content and pages) we do aim to complete the build in 14 working days, however, there may be small delays in the process and we can’t be responsible for missed deadlines and launch dates that you may have set.
We don’t tolerate any form of abusive or aggressive behaviour towards our team and we reserve the right to cancel your website without a refund if we feel that there has been any aggressive or abusive conduct.
Site and Simple will keep the registration of your domain name on our server. This is to ensure that any work that needs doing on your domain can be done so quickly and easily.
If your domain is registered with another provider, we would require you to point your domain over to our server/hosting provider so we can ensure that you get the best possible service.
Once your website is ready to go live, you will receive a username and password to access your websites CMS.
Any intellectual properties, including design and coding remain the property of Site and Simple. Any content provided by the customer/client remains their property.
You agree to the Site and Simple logo and link through to www.siteandsimple.com being displayed in your website footer.
Once your theme has been agreed in the consultation process, it can’t be changed.
As part of our packages, you will receive free WordPress hosting, domain hosting (should you not already own a domain) and SLL certification for one year from when payment is received. After this period, an invoice will be issued and payment will be due for your WordPress hosting, domain hosting and SLL certification. This invoice will be issued 28 days before the free yearly period is over and must be paid within 28 days of being issued. From then on, this billing process will happen annually. Failing to pay could see your website being taken offline.
You can cancel your domain hosting, WordPress hosting and SLL certification with us by providing us with one months notice. If you wish to move your website away from Site and Simple then you must provide us with one months notice. You will receive the content of your website in a zip file. A charge of £100 will be incurred for this service.
We are in no way liable for any damages or losses that may occur on the site that has occurred that wasn’t our fault.
Payment can be made via the invoice issued for any services provided.
Half of the full payment must be made up front before work has started on your website. The build of your website can’t be started until payment has been received.
Upon completion of your website, the second half of the payment must be made within 3 days of the site being finished. Once full payment has been made, you’ll then receive the admin details to log in to your website. Failure to make full payment could result in your website being taken offline.
Once payment has been received and work has started on your website, you are no longer entitled to a refund. You are only entitled to a refund if work has not yet started on your website.
Site and Simple aim to get back to any support enquires within 24 hours, however, in busier periods, this can be longer. Site and Simple are happy to provide basic website support as part of our service. If any work needs to be carried out that isn’t basic website support (this can include coding, design work and will be at Site and Simples discretion), this work will be carried out at a charge of £60 an hour. Site and Simple will notify you of this charge before any work is carried out. Payment must be made before work is started.
Site and Simple will only be liable for losses which are a direct result of our work, and not for any indirect or consequential loss.
